This past May, Rebecca and I had the grace to travel to the Isle of Saints and Scholars, Ireland!
It's here where our own relations can be found, in Cork, Killarney, Donegal and Antrim.
Here are just a few of the images, the faces and the places we visited on our ten day trip.

Slainte and Enjoy!

Giving the feet a rest after hiking to the top of one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe! Slieve League, Donegal
Bill snoozing in the fields of Donegal
Cousins Catherine and Cian,
two of our gracious hosts!

The Hills of Killarney on the road
to the Gap of Dunloe.

Gazing across Donegal Bay to the Atlantic Ocean, Slieve League.

How could we not feel surrounded by the love of God who opens before us the book of nature
and invites us to read there the signs of his presence and tenderness? Far from daily life...
in this delightful mountain spot we have the opportunity to rediscover the grandeur of God
and man in the beauty of creation, and we are invited to achieve a fuller harmony
with the Artisan of the universe.

- Pope John Paul II
